The Dublin Argentine Tango Society is a non-profit organization, run by volunteers whose aim is the promotion of all aspects of Argentine Tango in Dublin and Ireland. It is the focus of Tango here in the capital and the central hub of Tango in Ireland. Its Honorary Patron is the Ambassador of the Argentine Republic. |

On March 30th 2000, His Excellency Ambassador Victor Beauge, formally launched the Dublin Argentine Tango Society in the Turk’s Head Bar in Parliament St., Dublin. He gave an address to the fledgling organization and wished it every success in the future. |

Nearly a decade on, the Society and the tango community is flourishing. Not only are its own activities well attended but the tango community it has created in Dublin sustains and provides employment for resident teachers from Argentina as well.
